Family time

Family time

Supported and supervised family time, delivered to an agreed risk framework. Sessions are delivered in community settings and agreed venues. Gwennol does not operate a contact centre.

Service scope

What the service covers

  • Supported family time with one practitioner
  • Supervised family time where risk requires professional observation throughout
  • Two-practitioner arrangements where risk requires
  • Social-work-qualified supervision where directed
  • Virtual sessions
  • Professional observation reports and review meetings
  • Transport and escort where agreed
  • If you are deciding which level a case needs, our guide to the practical difference between supported and supervised contact sets out what each involves and what recording to expect.

Phase 1 boundary: these services do not include personal care, prompting or reminding a service user to eat, wash, dress or take medication, medication administration, or accommodation combined with parenting assessment. Referrals are screened before acceptance.

Part of a wider package

Part of a wider package

Where a situation needs more than one kind of support, this service can sit inside a commissioned support package — with the hours, staffing ratio, management and reporting set across the whole arrangement rather than service by service.

One design

Hours, ratio and skill mix set across the whole package.

One point of contact

Named management for everything we deliver on the case.

One report

Reporting covering the package, at the agreed frequency.

Discuss a referral

Send the referral with the situation, the risks and the outcomes you need. We will confirm whether we can deliver it, on its own or within a wider commissioned package.
